    If you can keep your head when all about you,
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
    If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
    Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
    And yet don't look too good or talk too wise:

    If you can dream and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think and not make thoughts your aim;
    If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
    If you can bear the words you've spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
    Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

    If you can make one heap of all your winnings
    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
    And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
    If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
    And so hold on when there is nothing in you

    (c'est la version originale de SI, mon dernier post, qui est une traduction quasi mot à mot de cet original. Il est en anglais pour IVY et LOIC, nos chers anglophones/anglophiles, et peut-être d'autres sur le site. Avec les rimes, il est encore plus beau, si vous lisez dans le texte)

-Bonsoir je parle très mal l'anglais philip I M SORRY IF si j'avais le temps de reprendre des cours pour cette traduction que je pense à la lecture serait un grand merci

----Comme mes notions d'anglais ont beaucoup diminuée, le commentaire sera des plus simple...: néant ! J'ai pris ce poème, parce que moins de lecture, mais surtout pour remercier de tes commentaires sur mes poésies et en particulier sur " Amour...je suis ". A l'origine ce poème est un sonnet. L'ensemble me paraissais bon, mais je craignais que le lecteur ne comprenne pas. Juste avant d'enregistrer le texte sur ce site, j'ai assemblé le deuxième quatrain et le premier tercet et mis un titre sur chaque paragraphe. Avec l'image c'est magnifique. Quant à l'âme des lieux de la poésie " Erg ", tout est relatif. Mais que pouvons dire d'un lieu, lorsqu'il y a communion. Ce déclic, qui donne " la ", qui le donne ? Puisque l'âme n'est pas quelque chose que l'on met par dessus la bêtise, mais qui " Est " lorsque la bêtise est enlevée. Bien sûr dans ma poésie la bêtise n'est pas en jeu. Mais qu'est ce que l'âme, sinon un champs magnétique universel...C'est un sujet qui me passionne. Le Spirituel et la Science sont aussi indissociable que l'espace/temps. Amitiés.
